Debi Bergstrom

Born in Jamaica, Debi relocated to the Cayman Islands with her family in 1976 and grew up in Grand Cayman. She has seen the island develop and grow into the Jewel of the Caribbean. She attended university at Western in London, Ontario, and has held executive management positions in the corporate and technical services industry.
Debi and her husband Kris founded Edgewater Development Ltd. in 1998, but have been building, developing, buying and selling properties in the Cayman Islands since 1988.
Enjoying the Real Estate aspect of the business and wanted to learn more, Debi started working in the business as a Real Estate CIREBA Certified Professional in 2009. She saw real estate as an important extension to Edgewater Development launched Edgewater Properties as the Broker and Owner and the Edgewater Group was born. She set out to build a “one stop shop” brokerage which can offer all services including guidance on new builds, renovations and design. She specializes in all levels of sales whether it is a high-end residential home, beachfront condominium, commercial properties or a young first time buyer. Always making sure that she meets her client’s needs and that they are completely satisfied and with their purchase or sale and their goals have been achieved.

With over 25 years as a property professional and a principal in the construction industry, Debi brings her unique perspective to lead her team. Specializing in creating and marketing fine residential properties and ensuring clients’ needs are met with her personal touch Adding Edgewater Properties to the Edgewater Group allows our clients a “one stop shop” for all their Real Estate and Development needs. This new area of Edgewater allows Debi to offer even better customer service and a seamless process, no matter what the client’s needs are.
Debi is very passionate about property in the Cayman Islands and with her diverse experience can certainly work with sellers and buyers alike. Debi is married to Kris Bergstrom who has extensive knowledge and a sound background in Cayman real estate with many years in project management and working in construction here in the Cayman Islands. He is commitment to continuously improve the quality of work Edgewater clients have come to expect. He also has held executive management positions in the airline industry and is a qualified airline Captain. Together they have 3 children and two grandchildren, all born and raised in Grand Cayman. Debi enjoys the island life and enjoys scuba diving, boating, sailing and paddle boarding when time allows.
